The rotation is going to be the number one concern going into next year. If ChiChi keeps up his pace in AA, I could see him starting as the number 4/5 starter next year (he will be 23). Realistically, he will probably start the season in AAA and be an early call-up. From what I've heard, Jackson might be better off as a middle reliever, although it would be awesome if he improved his secondary pitches and became a starter.

I still think they want Gallo to replace Beltre, otherwise they would've made the switch to outfield already. Corner outfield can be found in FA or internally (Choice...if he improves).

First base should be set for next year with Prince. After 2015, we will more than likely be looking for a replacement.

Profar is more than likely the most valuable MI, but I do not see us trading him. Odor has played himself into our 2nd most valuable trade prospect and as much as I love him, there doesn't seem to be a place for him......unless we trade Andrus, which is looking like the most possible scenario.

I wouldn't discount Jackson. His control has been improving and he's been pitching really well for the past couple of years. I think he can be a solid 3. He may end up as a reliever, but only if he fails as a starter. I actually like Jackson's ceiling better though Chi Chi is the safer bet. I just don't want to push these two like we did with Neil Ramirez.

Gallo is in A ball and drafted as a 3rd baseman. He's still there because we want to know if he can stick. We want Gallo's bat to develop so there's no reason to put added pressure on him in learning a new position. I think he eventually starts learning LF/1B as he gets closer to the majors.

Who knows, we may be looking at a Profar, Andrus, Odor, Beltre INF next season with Fielder locking in full time at bats at DH. That's one hell of a defensive infield.
