I have a hard time believing that they are thriving up there due to the harsh winters. That frog was way closer to the camera making it look bigger.



It was big enough to eat though. I'll get my hat.

Vancouver Island is the Banana Belt of Canada. SOme areas get little to no snow and rarely fall below freezing. Only the upper elevations experience much cold in winter.
