Does anyone use T-Mobile around BR or DS? I was going to try the Test Drive but if the service isn't very good then I may not even try.

BR has good service. Driving from there to Mandeville I usually have service all the way, mostly on the hspa network which is fast. From BR to NO, service all the way. BR to Lafayette, service drops to 2g once you pass port Allen. That trip can switch between 2g,and no service. Mostly have 2g though. Will get hspa or lte once you are almost off the basin bridge.

Opelousas to alexandria - you're fricked with service. 10 miles away from Alexandria to Dallas I had service pretty much all the way with hspa or lte.

Forgot to say that tmobile is now allowing you to try their network for 7 days. They give you an iphone5s for those seven days and then you have to return it
