Based on what? You want to return to the old model of education where kids can't logically reason for shite? Or read?
What exactly is your idea of a good education model? Common Core was developed by the states and governors. It was not, in any way, developed at the federal level.

What about the "old model" of education do you think was causing that, such that it will be rectified by common core?
For the record, I don't know enough about this to say whether I'm for or against it, I just found these questions curious.

for one...it takes away any say the parents may have in their childs education
