i agree
my kids were honor roll/principles list before common core and each had 1 B with common core.
is it different, yes. do you have to think differently, yes.
but if my 4th and 5th graders can kick it's arse, than it can't be "that" difficult.
i love how we are close to last in education and when something new that is outside the box is introduced, everyone freaks out.
were just stuck on stupid, I reckon

My mom taught 4th grade the last 15 years of her career and had 1 kid not pass the LEAP and she thought common core was crap wrapped in a pretty catch all bowl.

My kids are on Common Core pain train and I'm very happy about it. In a few years, you haters' kids can come work for mine because they didn't get into college. Good ole looziana fighting the pawr.

Yea, so what good is it doing for anyone if a kid comes home and needs help with his homework and his parents can't help him? Its doing no good, common core is stupid.
