I prefer to camp twords either end, stay away from the center as the bugs will tote you off. As has been posted there will be rangers patroling esp. on a holiday so leave the glass and dog at home and all will be ok. The fishing really depends on water conditions and clarity. Shoot for specs and or reds as they are the most common but don't be surprised at what you catch. Be sure to secure your boat very well as a change in wind direction during the night can lead to a long swim in the morning. There are going to be lots of people partying out there on the forth so be prepared. Take twice the ice and water and half the beer you think you need.
