Buying a house with a wood burning fireplace

The house I am buying has a wood burning fireplace. I would like to put one of the "Amish fireplaces" in so it isn't wood burning anymore. Has anyone on here had any experience with these or have any other suggestions< TIA

I have one that is gas in my outdoor kitchen.

Just get a plumber to run a gas line under the wood holder and be done with it. Very simple and not a whole lot that can be messed up

Not sure what that is, but if you close off the chimney and burn fake logs with gas, remember about oxygen depletion.
