LSU out of the CWS and still watching

I use to watch every CWS because I actually love college baseball. Whether the Tigers got there or went 2 and q I would keep watching no matter how pissed I was cause it was still entertaining. I flipped on the Vandy game the other day and watched 4 bunts in one inning...I turned it off and refuse to watch such boring TV. Pitchers are nom longer held accountable for bad pitches and hitters are only rewarded for nicely placed bunts or errors on fielders...this sucks. I really hope that they have to change the bats or balls after this crap...ratings have GOT to be be poor compared to other years.
Hell the greatest moment in Rosenblatt/CWS history was a walk off Hr...GEAUX TIGERS

I'm right there with ya. These games are incredibly boring to watch it's unbearable even for the die hard baseball fans. If it weren't for TCU still in, I probably wouldn't have watched much at all by this point. The NCAA must make a change before they kill even more popularity

Agree 100%. It's not basball

At least the game tonight is fun to watch. Who doesn't love an extra inning game that goes deep into the night?

They are going to be dealing with a lot of that with this set up

I am in town for the summer and decided to catch this game...it has been pretty good so far, and the TCU fans are much better then UVA fans, and much more into it.

I have this thing where everyone else's team looks better than mine.
I'm watching these teams pull pitcher after pitcher out of the pen throwing strike after strike with all kinds of heat and junk and they all just look way better than LSU.
I think it's just my perspective but it's always like that. Everyone else's team is better than mine.

You know it.
I will say I like seeing a pitchers dual and these to bullpens are rather impressive. However, this park allows these pitchers to make mistakes and not pay for them by good hitters(except Papi against OM).
I'm curious as to how our pitching would fare in this park after Nola and poche' did their thing?

I figured one loss in a tourney and we'd be done.

I agree it is just not as fun to watch as it was when they played the CWS at Rosenblatt. They are changing the specs on the balls next year from what I have heard to have a more lively ball, still don't think it will be enough to make a huge difference but it is what it is.

Last night's game would have been more exciting if it was the exception to the rule and not the same as every other game.

Games are hard to watch. Its not just taking the HR out of the game. When the CF is playing closer to 2B then the wall there is a problem.
This park makes good pitchers look great and great pitchers HOF's.
Even the announcers are mocking the park by calling any ball hit over an outfielders head a "TD Ameritrade homer"

I haven't watched any of it since LSU is not in it. I would rather watch a MLB game.
I don't know how to fix college baseball. I would love wooden bats but they say it's too expensive. I would love to see the big five conferences who are creating a division IV go to wooden bats since with the football revenue they can afford it.

Texas Tech threw out some no name rag arm who had hardly thrown all year yesterday and he looked like Cy Young.

College baseball ended after the third game of the Baton Rouge regional. I have no idea who is in the CWS.

I don't enjoy watching a sporting event where guys run around the field and nobody scores. Therefore, the World Cup >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the CWS at TD Ameritrade.

I can honestly say this is TE first time I haven't watched a single CWS game since, probably, 92 or 93. Granted the WC is a part of it but I probably still wouldn't have watched even if the WC wasn't on. I've seen enough long fly outs at TD Ameritrade to last me until LSU makes it again.

Good to hear TCU has a good but of fans. My past experience with them is they may not have the most but the majority are into the game and know what's going on. I hear Texas and ole miss have the most. Correct?
