re: Anyone take a guess how many home runs have been hit in CWS?

I remember this topic last year. The main reasons most TDers believed led to such a lack of power at TD Ameritrade were that the stadium sits downtown and at the bottom of a former trash dump, which does not have much of a breeze. Rosenblatt sat at the top of a hill and more out in the open, which allowed more wind to blow through and carry the ball. Also, the combination of the new dead bats and raised seams on the college baseball did not allow the ball to really carry well. The new ball should help, but I think TD will have to bring in the fences to combat the lack of wind that assisted some balls out of Rosenblatt.
