Seems like a good kick in our pants to further ramp up the development of natural gas as a viable and long-term fuel source.
I'd rather endure the higher prices and resulting economic effects than have American boots on the ground over there again.

Jacking up oil prices because of Iraq instability is just an excuse to raise prices. No matter who is in charge they will sell us oil.
Hopefully it'll lead us to be less reliant on OPEC countries and be more energy independent.
