and how many cases do you see on a day to day basis? i see hundreds working as a prosecutor, and it's not unusual at all for a month's time to pass. we have cases that have had years pass before charges are actually filed or an arrest made.

now, based on the evidence that has been made public, i don't think there is enough to conclusively say he's innocent or guilty. it should be fairly easy to show reasonable doubt unless something is out there we don't know about. however, the time lapse between the incident and arrest is irrelevant.
