Craig Freeman makes a good point about the amount it would cost to buy out the remaining year of his contract. That's a lot of money and I'm not sure I would be willing to use all taxpayer funds to do it. I definitely don't want his contract renewed but again, not sure I'm fully in support of a buyout either.

I doubt they could fire him with cause.

Taylor was bought out of his previous employment for more money than his current buyout. Why is anyone on the EBR Parish School Board surprised that Taylor has produced results that would make a buyout desirable? What bothers me the most is Taylor's attitude toward being bought out. Rather than be upset, he seems to be amenable. That's definitely going to inspire confidence among the employees of the EBRPSS.
