Did I really just see someone compare killing elephants to mining for oil?
wow

how many thousands of turkey, deer, hogs etc get killed in the US each year? What is the difference?

One is on a list of endangered species, the others (mainly turkey) are bred specifically for food.

Also if you wanted to continue playing devils advocate, doctors are going against nature and natural selection, by helping more people live and people live longer they are contributing to the over population of the world and putting a strain on many countries infrastructure as the number of elderly people needing care, alot of which is government funded which takes away money from other important sectors such as education and policing. We have an ageing population and it is one of the biggest problems facing governments in the coming generations as the number of people working to retired people ratio decreases.

I dont believe this btw.
