Pop would bench Lebron just to show him he isn't needed...that it's a privilege to play for him.

They lost 3/4 of their roster due to trade/injury/FA/retirement and their coaching staff that year. Not JUST Lebron.

Besides Lebron, who did they lose that was not easily replaceable?

Why would Chandler Parsons have any insight on this decision?

I've posted the roster changes from that year multiple times on here. Search for it. I'm on my phone.

I don't need to search for it bc I know who was on that team. No one besides Lebron could not easily be replaced by an equal or better candidate, coach included. It is Cleveland's fault for not doing so.

Oh I see. So you admit I'm right....but blame CLE for not replacing approx NINE players and a coaching staff in one off season and winning 60 games again.

No wonder LeBeta left, the pressure in CLE was too much....

Besides Lebron, tell me who was not replaceable? Their second best player was Moe Williams

The fact you don't know the answer or understand your own question should be embarrassing.

The question was

and you refuse to answer bc other than Lebron, the answer is no one

No I refuse to answer because you can't even name the players on that roster without looking it up.

If you did, you'd see they had 4 other all star caliber players and a 14/14 DPOY caliber player on that team outside of Lebron.

On top of that you'd see other serviceable players like Danny Green (just look at his effectiveness in SA), JJ Hickson, and Daniel Gibson.

The fact you don't know this is all you need to know.

Mo Williams, Daniel Gibson, 40 year old Shaq, and Antwan Jamison are not "4 other all star caliber players"

Citing Danny Green's effectiveness in SA is irrelevant. He average 5 minutes per game and 2 ppg his one year in Cleveland.

You forgot Big Z and Varejao.

That entire team was a mixture of all star experience and youthful talent...and they lost every single one of those named players due to one of the reasons mentioned above.

Anyone expecting to replace ALL, not even some, of that under a new coaching staff and win in today's "tank for the 1st pick" NBA is at least mildly retarded.

The Cavs trotted out Ramon Sessions, Anthony Parker, Alonzo Gee, Antwan and Andy as their starting five with the likes of Ryan Hollins and Luke Harandogy as the bench. They were in full tank mode

damn that is terrible.

Jamison had better talent around him during his UNC days.

All of those guys can be easily replaced. Take Lebron James off that 2010 team and they go from best in the east to a bottom 5-10 in the league.

Jamison also missed almost half that season due to injury. Parker, Sessions, and Hickson were the only 3 on the team that year you play 80%+ of the games.

That roster was still not better than the Celtics, that featured their Big 3, Davis, Rondo, Tony Allen, etc.
