I remember back when I was I in grade school when he ran against duke. I remember people saying it was a tough decision between the to and thinking to myself "how is it even a choice between someone in the kkk and this guy. No brainer Edwards".

Edwards was the biggest piece of shite to ever inhabit the governor's office and I hope he rots for what he did to this state.
That being said, sadly, there is still to this day NOTHING AT ALL naive about your sentiment there. Duke would have made Edwards look like Thomas Jefferrson by comparison.
