I don't know if it came out in the last year, but "The Good Son" is a great book about boxer Ray Mancini. LINK

i don't think you have to buy your brother a fathers day present though.

he has a toddler. him and the mamma have split up. he bought her a mothers day present last year and felt slighted when she didnt take his daughter to buy him a present (not bc he wants a present, but bc he wants his daughter to be taught its not all about her and not spew venom about him as a dad).

so, im taking the niece with me for breakfast tomorrow and while we are out we will pick out a present for daddy.
