I'm still thinking they killed Aang, and maybe Sokka as well in the raid to capture Korra. They needed Aang dead in order to open the portals with a newer more naive Avatar, but there is still something they need from Korra, or else Zaheer would have just thrown her in the Fog of Lost Souls.

I don't see how Korra is going to defeat these guys in 3 episodes. I think they'll be the villains of the next season as well. Plus, how the hell do you top these guys? They're definitely the strongest villains that have been presented in either series.

Yeah that's the rumour that Season 3 will be a cliffhanger and I'm really hoping it is. I'm guessing Zaheer is going to unleash global chaos and season 4 will be the gang taking out the Red Lotus and restoring order.

Although I got to say the Red Lotus actually has some good ideas which I think maybe corrupted by another power.

You think that was the message they wanted the brothers to give to Korra?

Zaheer has a Bane-like quality to his approach.

Of course it will be corrupt!

That's something I was never really clear on. Like what is the reincarnation process exactly? Since we know the Avatar Spirit Raava is a separate sentient entity, does Raava like...fly into the nearest pregnant woman's womb in the next nation in the cycle? Or dies she like...fly into a baby after he or she is born or can either happen?

And does Korra even have the Avatar State anymore? Part of what made it so powerful was all the knowledge from the past lives. But Avatar Wan was using back to fight Vaatu and he had no past lives to draw from.
