I'm not stereotyping. Rivers and Rettig left cause they don't fit in to the direction LSU wants to play.

As for the tape.. I saw nothing that makes me think he's a pure pocket passer. Unless throwing deep 9 routes classifies " pocket passer ".

It's his accuracy that should jump out at you, whether he's throwing 9's, fades, outs, or crossing patterns (those are in his highlights as well if you look at more than one set). And while he needs work with progression reads, it's his willingness to go through them before breaking the pocket that makes him primarily a pocket passer.

No they left because they don't like the direction on the depth chart they were going.

What exactly is your basis for this assertion? Was Mett starting ahead of Bolden because he was was the better fit for the direction LSU wanted to play?

Could it be that maybe--and I know that this may be difficult for you to wrap your head around--juuuust maaaybe they were out-performed by those ahead of them on the depth chart? Maaaybe smart, successful coaches adjust their scheme to fit their personnel? Huh?

Nah, i'm sure it's your thing. That makes perfect sense that the coaches had better QBs in Rivers and Rettig but buried them on the bench because they wanted to "play in another direction."

Good commit. If he doesn't pan out at QB, he looks the part to play elsewhere. It's obvious the direction LSU is going at the position. If that's the direction, why was Dinklemann offered.

what makes him look the part, he didnt really show off a lot of his athletic ability on the tape.
