It seems there can't be a black period film without Terrance Howard, Cuba Gooding Jr, or Oprah appearing in it.

No one's going to forget what happened in places like Birmingham and Selma; I don't underfand the need to constantly dwell on it, it kind of halts racial progress. Every black person I know rolls their eyes at Oprah and movies like this.
