What is special about what Duke and Gonzaga do in your opinion that other schools and NBA teams don't do?

Popovich agrees with you. They missed 24.2% of their shots in the first half. Adjustments coming.

Lakers, Spurs, and Heat have been in the 8 last Finals. I want variety. Part of the charm of the 90s was seeing teams like the Sonics, Suns, Magic, Knicks, etc.

The 90s saw 10 different teams in the finals. From 05-14 there has been 9 different teams in the finals.

Bulls x6
Rockets x2
Blazers x2
Jazz x2
Knicks x2
Suns
Sonics
Spurs
Pistons
Magic
2005 - 2014:
Spurs x4
Heat x4
Lakers x3
Celtics x2
Mavs x2
Thunder
Pistons
Cavs
Magic
So the 90's only had 1 more team in the Finals compared to the last 10 years...
Nostalgia has your brain clouded.

quote:So 3 teams have been in the last 8 Finals?
Lakers, Spurs, and Heat have been in the 8 last Finals.
Here's another stat for you...
Starting in 1998 and going back to 1991, just 2 teams - the Bulls and Rockets - were in the past 8 Finals.
If you expand that to 3 teams, then the Bulls, Rockets, and Pistons were in the last 11 Finals going back into the '80's.
And if you expand it to 4 teams and add in the Celtics, those 4 teams were in the Finals for the past 15 years.
So from 1984-1998:
Bulls x6
Celtics x4
Rockets x3
Pistons x3
