Have you tried moving it a little close to your router? I know they typically need 80% signal strength to work. FWIW, I've had mixed results using pair of the same model repeaters in different setups. Mine at home works like a champ, had one we used for a mobile meeting room that did the same thing as yours. That one, I think, had the problem of whenever it lost power, nothing would reconnect to it when it came back up.

i will try that next if this current solution doesnt solve the problem---whats annoying is that even when it wont connect, the extender has full strength in my networks
