First off harmony makes programmable remotes not universal. Universal remotes are those shite things you buy for $7 at Walgreen's.

Second you can easily pick up a $30 harmony all over the place from refurb sites and give it a spin.

Third anyone that says harmony is shite has no clue how to set them up properly.

I prefer the cheap ones myself because I have kids and they tend to drop it on the hardwood alot.

The other advantage to getting s cheap lcd version is the battery lasts for 6+ months when you're not powering a gigantic led screen but you still get the same features.. Except rf.
