Old men from back in the day have some slammers mounted on the wall and killed it with a shotgun wearing flannel clothing.

I am 44, prior to being about 25 I spent every day of my hunting life either cold, wet, or both. Gumball boots with holes in em, cotton gloves and socks soaked from sweat, and walls windproof coveralls that should have led to a lawsuit for false advertising. Reloads with wax in the top so that only every 10th one would misfire, Winchester model 12 full choke that rusted when the humidity got over 10%,

Expensive things like wool socks, polypropylene, goretex, thinsulate, and top notch rain gear made me comfortable.

In the Summer I drank Cokes and Koolaid, lived dehydrated, sunburnt, and wet from sweat with some sort of crotch rot for 4 months a year. Now I have wicking clothing with vents, underwear that keeps my balls so dry you could store gun powder on em, 110 SPF sunblock, and fluid replacement drinks to make me feel almost as good as when I left the dock. I got towels for my head, and coolers for my drinks that actually allow you to carry ice that is NOT frozen in gallon jugs. Life aint bad, I am never going back.
