Convenient of you not to mention that point.

You act like Bama barely squeaked out a win in the NC that year. We lost by three touchdowns, scored zero points, and never crossed the 50. Bama was just BETTER that year - even teams don't get curb stomped that badly when it matters.

Bama was better that day. I don't think they were necessarily better that year.

Do you understand what IF means? Had Oklahoma State not lost LSU and Alabama would have never played and no one would have known that we would look so bad against them. Had we beaten OSU we would have gone down as an undefeated national champion that beat an insane number of ranked teams. Its a hypotheitcal situation. Get up to speed.

I mean we did beat them AT THEIR PLACE in a game that was "the game of the century for all the marbles!!!11!1!!"

We played awful on offense on 1/9. No excuses for that game. However I still dont believe that Bama was far and away better that year because I can point to a similar pressured game where they had the home field advantage and lost.

IMO it was a huge psychological blow for the team to have the whole season build up to one winner take all game hyped in all reality more than the NC game (the NBA was in lockout and there was a ticker on ESPN for two weeks) , they go out there lay it all on the line and then 3 weeks later they get told-it doesnt matter do it again.

Anyways. Football is as good as its ever been. NC contender year in year out.

Baseball Maineiri has won some regular season games but failed in the post season. Unfortunately for him college baseball and college basketball are sports (unlike CFB) where the regular season means crap if you cant win in their respective tournaments.

BS! They were better prepared for that game then we were. It showed and they won. It doesn't mean they had the better team. That LSU team has a right to question whether BAMA was better than them given that, you know, they beat them at their place earlier in the year.

As a matter of fact THAT team beat the national champion, the PAC 12 champion, Big East champion and were the SEC champion themselves.

As an LSU fan you're not just being a homer if you have the stones to look at a resume like that and say frick BAMA!!!
