Yeah, I remember that discussion. It offered the idea of getting Mix in the lineup but also that the US was being better with Beckerman holding and both Bradley and Jones being freed to press and win balls to start counters.



The three midfields the US faces in group are all better than Nigeria's but that tactic did work as Bradley won a ton of balls in dangerous positions.
