worst environmental conditions: 1977 beating Rice 77-0 , I was 9 yrs old and it was brutally cold, felt like it was in the teens. Had 4 or 5 Schweggmann brown paper bags around my feet trying to stay warm. 1988 vs. Miami (FL) ... I believe LSU was ranked 10th and MIA was 2nd or 3rd. So much anticipation during game week as the Hurricanes were legitimate NC contenders, and LSU wanted to knock off the big dogs. Well, the Canes literally brought a monsoon into Tiger Stadium as it poured cats and dogs the entire game. Final score wasn't pretty as LSU took one on the chin 44-3 .
