re: Christmas in Colorado

Breck during Christmas time is the worst place to be in Colorado. It will be overcrowded and the prices will be heavily inflated. It's the nicest resort nearest to Denver so that means it is the place most people flock to during the holidays.

I-70 during that time of year can completely shut down if a storm rolls through.

It's normally about a 1 1/2 hour drive but during Christmas last year people spent up to 8 hours trying to get back into Denver.
