George has never been a song writer. He's had the same two guys write his songs his entire career.

To me that doesn't make one lick of difference.

It means that unless he had some under the table deal (a la Col Parker w/Hill & Range) he missed out on a major revenue stream, unlike Lennon and McCartney (if we're still comparing money)
