I was going to play devils advocate but if the guy advertises specs, the op has a reasonable expectation that this time of year, specs will be attempted.

If you booked with an offshore guide that has tuna and snapper and aj and wahoo and whatever else listed on his website then heads to the first rig and you drop for snapper and head in and he says it's just a fishing charter, would you be pissed? Technically same situation.

Fwiw, I have extreme distrust of charter captains.
