D was bad last year.

This was so overstated. The bulk of our bad defensive games came early in the year when we were breaking in a ton of new guys, particularly in the secondary. They started to really come on towards the end of the year. Pretty sure we finished 3rd or so in the SEC in total defense.

And when you have a lockdown corner on each side like we will from day 1 next year, it really opens things up everywhere else.

I also believe that our linebacker play will improve like we thought it would last year. 2 INTs returned for TDs in the spring? Wait until the fall..... Dline could improve big you never know, DEs will be a strength and could very well feed these youngsters the momentum they have. By the end of the season I think we have a very strong D!

This is vitally important and will help the D-Line to play better.

As to the OP, if all the breaks go our way, yes we can be 15-0. But the two games that worry me are Florida and Arkansas. Not because they will be world beaters but because we struggle at their place, especially Arkansas.

I'm realistically optimistic and see us with 1-2 regular season losses. If the team gels and everything comes together then yes, it can be the beginning of a Tiger Dynasty.
