Before NWST/Auburn week, I didn't think we'd make it out of a regional, a regional we would travel for.
That late run reminded me of how MSState got hot at the end last year, and I thought we may have a chance. Then I remembered that all CPM does is win SECT championships, but that only goes so far.
So all in all I thought they got to where they would originally get to.

he won the SEC regular season championship in 2009 and 2012. Last year we went 23-7 in the SEC which would have won the conference any other year, yet Vandy set an SEC record at 27-3. Hard to put that in Mainieri. CPM also has won a national title and been to Omaha 3 times at LSU and once at Notre Dame. It's almost as if you;re framing this as him winning the SECT 5 times in 7 trips is a bad thing.
