Zaxby's is in Arkansas.

Not a good excuse IMO. Zaxby's has a much more extensive menu, but their chicken sucks and their prices aren't any better than Canes.

Between the two, I much prefer Canes despite their limited menu. I wish they'd consider opening a location around here.

Canes somehow also seems to have competent employees in most of their locations. It's rare in fast food- especially in the south.
