I noticed that he didn't appear to be in bad physical shape as the White House reported. FOX, CNN and MSNBC are all ripping the WH this morning with the info the WH has put out over this whole ordeal.

As they should. This whole ordeal smells like T-total shite. Heads should roll over this, including Bergdahl's.

Last night MSNBC was defending the move, one guy literally said these guys would've been released shortly anyway so we got a good deal by at least getting something out of it. He was stating this as fact.

They also have such a "clever" little name for this whole thing, Bergdazi or something of the sort, basically mocking it as another "fake" scandal conjured up by the right.

All I could do was laugh.

Whichever government agency handles the press in matters such as these tend to spin the story to their own benefit. All one has to do is look back on the Jessica Lynch capture and rescue to see evidence of this. The Department of Defense briefings regarding Lynch were basically propaganda for the military. Why should the White House be expected to act any differently?
