I would disagree with this but not how you might think.

I think that for the most part, history shows that each new President in fact DOES do new stuff. Each basically piles on what his predecessor did without stopping the shite the predecessor did. Oh, they run their mouths about how bad the stuff the predecessor did BEFORE getting elected. But, the moment they are elected, the power they previously thought was abused becomes theirs and the LOVE it!

And, this will not stop with Obama. Whomever the next guy/gal is will do the same and why not? They can reliably expect that no matter what they do, their "team" will defend it and cite what the last guy did as making it OK.

It's like we're a nation of teenagers all saying, "but everyone else does it......"
