Better ways to go about it than beating up an 11 year old kid.

Even if this kid deserved it.

How so?

What if the kids parents did nothing?

You know the school wouldn't have done anything.

So what would have been a better way?

I'm not sure there is. I'm betting this little shite will never look at the autistic kid again. The rest of the kids on the bus are likely to stay clear as well.

If all the punk had to suffer was a touched up mug then I think the issue was wrapped up rather well. Maybe it would've been more palatable for the dad to just whip off his belt and wear the kid's arse out in front of everybody.

But he didnt beat the kid up. He pulled the kid to him by the hair. That's beating a kid up? If he knew he was going to jail for it he should have knocked out a few teeth at least. Two things are certain. His kid wont be bullied on that bus anymore and that bully will never bully anyone ever again. Problem solved.

Yep. Plus the 11 year old is also special.
