I guarantee you if this was a Rockets vs. Heat final most people would be hoping for the Arena to explode and neither team win. We just don't see the Spurs as a rival, they are more the mentor figure that does things the right way that we are trying to learn from and expect to be out of the contention picture by the time we figure things out.

So who among us is a true Pels fan and will be rooting for a divisional rival that ended our best playoff run to win a title?

Even tho Lebron has become a lil less douchy to me the last couple of years, I'm still not pulling for him. frick him. frick Wade. And even though I was a Ray Allen fan when he was with the Bucks and Celtics, frick him too.

I honestly don't feel a true rivalry with any team yet.

Spurs: small market team winning by honest, hard work and systematic design

Heat: Star players manipulating the CBA to join up as a superteam thus weakening attempts to create competitive balance

How are the Spurs even rivals again?

How many times have we had winning records against them since being in NOLA? Like once? twice?

frick the Rockets. frick the Mavs. But I don't really feel much hate towards the Spurs anymore. I used to, but not anymore. They've toned down the bitching and the flopping a lot in recent years, and they're fun as shite to watch.

Oh yea and the most important part, frick THE HEAT

Divisions don't mean shite in the NBA. I really don't consider the Spurs a "rival" anymore.

There are no rivalries in the NBA anymore. Everyone is buddy buddy and smokes blunts together during the offseason.
