Meh that isn't really the same. When the lineup also includes Public Enemy, Vampire Weekend, Robin Thicke, Chaka Khan, Christina Aguilera, Doosh Springsteen, Trey Songz, Better Than Ezra, Foster The People and Arcade Fire, it can't be considered "jammy".

Basically just another generic festivals that grabs something for everyone

Why not? It isn't like those other artists cancel out the jam bands. The stage schedules are even setup so that similar genres follow each other.

Generic? Jazz Fest had by far the most diverse lineup out of any festival this year.
