Free room at either for Halloween weekend. I have never stayed at these two. Ive been to Paris, Mandalay Bay, and Mirage.

Anyone know which of these two would be a better stay?

To stay in, I would say Bally's fo sho, though I think they have a lot of construction going on and Harrah's has upgraded through the years.

I'd say bally's. Stayed at harrah's this week and it was nothing special. The one in Nola is actually nicer. Neither will compare to three you stayed at though.

Great night in Vegas! The amount of half naked chicks is outstanding.

I stayed at Harrah's about 10 years ago. It was OK. If I recall, it's kind of in the middle of everything.
I mean, all Vegas hotel rooms are for are sleeping and showering. You're going to be out doing stuff. Pick the one that's closest to where you want to eat, drink and gamble.

Toss up.. Both are great locations. Ballys connects to Paris and near Bellagio. So lean to Ballys.

Bally's has a huge sports book if that helps you make your decision.

The hotels at both properties were built over 40 years ago in an era when the casinos did not have things like pay per view, mini bars or other revenue generating amenities. The casinos wanted guests to spend as little time as possible in the hotel rooms. No matter how many renovations they do, the operators of the hotels can't really change the size of the rooms and bathrooms. By current Vegas standards they both suck. So choose the one that is most convenient for the things you plan to do outside the hotel.

If I had to pick Harrah's

Both are similar Harrah's a little newer

I know its a free room and all but if you didnt have those coupons you can get better rooms for the same price elsewhere

I have free rooms at both as well from playing in Tunica, been thinking about making the trip.

The Bally's in Tunica might be the worst casino/hotel in the country.
