The people of Japan are fond of Americans.
As far as places to go, if you get out of the city, I'd go to the Mt. Fuji area. You could go to the Enoshima area and check out the giant Buddha.
The "American " district, if you want to call it that, is Roppongi. Check out the central areas like Tokyo and Shinjuku stations.
A Japanese baseball game is pretty fun. Check out the Tokyo Giants.
