Here is a novel idea: Follow the law and you have nothing to worry about.

I've never seen so much drama over $20.

I know. I hate cops as much as the next guy but I don't feel sorry for someone who gets an inspection sticker ticket. Takes 5 minutes and like 17 dollars

Agreed, but with the crime rate the way it is in Baton Rouge, do you really think it's a wise use of taxpayer money to pay police officers to hand out inspection sticker tickets versus actually fixing our crime problem?
It's a money grab, plain and simple. When our police force actually does their job and helps lower the crime rate by a significant margin, then I'll be okay with them spending our own money pulling us over for inspection stickers. Until then, frick em.

You mean law-abiding citizens? I understand that we are few and far between. How about quit whining and do the adult thing, or are you typing your responses on your nobama phone?

How in the hell do states with NO inspection stickers / brake tags make it?!!
How is the citizenry protected from evil cars??

I'm glad we don't have that bullshite in Alabama.
I don't know why we have to have proof of insurance and registration in the car. Why can't that be in a database that can be accessed by the license tag no.

Don't mind this so much, but it's when they tack on a ticket for my tint that it bothers me

BRPD with one at Dalrymple.
The least these frickers could do is check for proof of insurance, something that is an actual problem in BR.

I always love this argument. Go ahead and tell us how they are supposed to fix it. What are they supposed to do ? Go follow the would be criminals around saying things like...
"I've got my eye on you"
"Don't steal that bike."
"Hey Trillhog!!! I SAID NO RAPING!!!"
They can only react to the crimes AFTER they have been committed.

You really think that database would have a shot in hell at being kept up to date ?

Hope they have their helicopter circling around to chase down the violators who turn around to avoid the checkpoint!
