After that game, I might be a little harder than normal on the show.

At least I get to see red again.

Season 3 Episode 13
Immortality

Other than looking cool, what possible use are the blimps in the future?

They don't have any advertisements on them!

Spontaneous bug eruption. Way #3, I do not want to go.

In before Cokes reminds us he hates both Charlies. I guess that is actually 3 Charlies he hated counting the shifter.

Interesting to see how Walternate will kill people with no problem but since Peter was taken, he won't test on kids.

Another red!

I've never understood people who break things when mad. After you break that crap, you need to clean it up and now you are out the money for the new crap. Yes, I know I have the opening picture of Dr. Cox smashing the guitar but it isn't his guitar and he won't be cleaning up.

What killed the sheep? Good thing it wasn't dogs!

Wow. What a total douche-bag move by Lincoln. In fact, that really stretches believability. He walked straight to Olivia and told her with Frank still there, just a few feet away.

Good save. The episode was almost over. I was actually just about to type, why the F is he testing on humans, when he explained why he was testing on humans.

Why didn't Lincoln smash the compressor / AC Motor which they clearly showed?

In case you wanted to know. Liquid nitrogen can actually freeze metal and make it brittle. Maybe not as easily as Lincoln did it, but it is possible.

If all he needed was a queen, couldn't he have procured a Queen long before the sheep died out?

Frank showing up with the swat team was pretty damn silly. Sure he was part of the CDC, but nonsense to believe he would be sent with that team.

I kind of remembered this one at the end. Remembered that he used himself as the final host which makes NO SENSE.

Also not sure there is a Queen beetle. Not sure why they called it a queen. It's just a female beetle. I could be wrong but the interwebs only gave me pages about Queen vs The Beatles.

Poor Frank.

I'm giving that episode a thumbs down. Filler and it just didn't make much sense.

Season 3 Episode 14
6B

The interweb failed me. I couldn't find a picture of the guy choking on a kebab from Kids in the Hall.

So she pretty much forgave Peter then that cockblocking mind reader sent her right back into bitch mode! I still say the mind reader did it on purpose since she was the only woman on the planet he could have a normal relationship with.

Sure hope they stole the recipe for Amber if the OVerse starts falling apart.

Dayum, Walter is panicking like there are 3 cases of Ebola in the US.

Yup. Typical woman. Sorry Trbl. 180 degree mood swings.

Sorry about that intermission. I was away for a family non-emergency emergency.

Why are they acting so odd about using Amber? They should have learned from the Fauxverse that it would save millions.

Mass hysteria is better than millions or billions dead.

Sorry Olivia but given the alternative, it isn't a bad last resort. In fact, it is barely a bad first resort. In the Fauxverse they react pretty fast with the Amber. I am sure they do that because they realized waiting to evacuate everyone leads to more deaths. Probably learned that lesson the hard way.

In a similar vein to testing shifters, why exactly didn't the Fringe department evacuate the building once the learned of the soft spot? Seems like an empty building would make the Amber decision pretty easy.

Ok. I'm calling BS on Walter saying location doesn't matter. They are in the same spot but in alternate universes. If distance and both parties being in the same spot has no cause & effect then grieving people all over both universes would be causing daily disruptions in the fabric of both universes. The writer wanted to keep her in the apartment and came up with a bs explanation. That was weak. Not a bad episode, but weak reasoning at the end.

Quit whining Walter. You are smarter with half a brain than Walternate!

Are Peter and Olivia breaking out the saran wrap?

I'm glad they at least flashed to the Fauxverse at the end but given the severity of the event, poor Derek would have been encased in Amber within the first couple of connections between the old folks. No way they wouldn't have Ambered that building after the last event long before the event was over.

Season 3 Episode 15
Subject 13

Back to the 80s.

We wondered how Peter forgot he was removed from one universe and brought to another. Guess we forgot that he did notice things were changed. Not sure how dying in a lake would make things better.

How does Walter know the original jump caused any damage? Maybe they should have tossed a few scenes of him seeing catastrophic rifts using the Alternate Viewing Glass. Without proof of damage, there is no reason not to use the same technology to bring him back. He certainly sees no damage in the Overse so it seems a bit hard for him to think a second trip would be catastrophic.

Well, at least they are consistent. Olive teleported away yet her father didn't see her teleport away and he grabbed her.

If his Alternate mom has been following him around like she did in the toy store, no wonder Peter is freaking out.

Ha! Showing Olive Jaws.

As we have previously discussed. I still don't get the crossover mechanism. Also, I don't understand Walter's tests. Since he has no idea what can cause the jump, why does he assume Olive wouldn't just jump and stay over there forever?

How did Peter's mom avoid prosecution and how did she stay married to Walter? Her story sounded insane. 6 months later and Walternate still doesn't know about alternate universes so given her story, I would think she would be the prime suspect and I am not sure he would so easily believe her story.

Oh snap! Just got a shiver down the spine. Nice. I forgot that was how Walternate learned about Alternate worlds.

The social services threat seemed a bit weak. I think it was so weak her father might have killed her that night. Still a good episode.

Really not consistent with Peter not remembering the switch in the future.

OP updated with new episodes. Looks like this week we finally get to Bellivia (BOOOOOOOO). But the good news is that I think that arc doesn't last more than a couple episodes (maybe 3), so we should get completely through it this week.

As usual, I will post my discussion on the current episodes shortly, and respond to Myth's as well. Hopefully TH, jamsmiley, and others will continue to join in. Also, LSUBoo and HoustonChick are watching the series now as well. I talked to them on FB about joining the thread, but they were hesitant for fear of spoilers. But hopefully they will decide to join in at some point, and if they do, I'm sure we can help them out in that regard and make sure we label spoilerish discussion and whatnot. Would be nice to get some new blood in here, especially first time watchers.

I refrained this time. But I can't fricking stand him though.

I forgot to comment on that. Yeah, total piece of shite for doing that. Not only did he salt the frick out of ole boy's game, but he straight up ruined any sort of surprise and happiness for Liv. Why do that at all? Makes no sense.

I was wondering why it was kept in there...and had it not been in there, would he have been fricked? I thought worst case, he could've tried shooting his gun and hoped that Liv heard it.

We are in agreement on that. So much shade being thrown lately. First that dude, now Lincoln. Jesus..

I wondered the same thing. Surely they wouldn't just force all those innocents into the amber without getting them out of there. But we don't know if the building was evacuated or not...I was assuming (hoping?) that it was though.

Exactly what I said. Annoyingly weak writing IMO.

Yeah, that doesn't make much sense. I just always assumed it was theories that he figured came true once he figured out a way to cross over. But you're right, there's no proof that he had to know for sure.

Never thought about that, but Walternate is very powerful, so I'm sure he just believed her and vouched for her.

What exactly was it that triggered him into knowing it was our Walter? Something about the brown sweater?
