I'm with you on the a-hole teenager kid, but that seems fairly in line with what they do to other kids who commit crimes. And they did say that the kid wasn't mind controlling anymore since he stopped taking that drug and it wore off. Even if he went to trial, they could argue insanity since the kid was on a major mind-altering drug, right?

I did think it was interesting that Nina updated Bell on all of the Tylers and that mind control was successful in certain subjects. But I don't remember if that ever comes back to be important later (for some reason, I don't think it does..).
quote:

Rent a cop sure isn't a good shot.

To be fair, he did shoot one at him, but August just caught it in his hand.
quote:

That kid is entirely too understanding. I think about 98% of kids that age would have a huge shite fit when told their amusement park plans were off. Hell, if that was Excited Disney Girl, she probably would have committed seppuku

Yeah, I thought the same thing. "It's okay, Aunt Liv...I know you have a really important job." What the frick ever.
quote:

I don't buy the ending. I think that based on what we know of the season 5 observers they still would have killed the chick.

Agreed.

But I really enjoyed this episode. Knowing how important the Observers are later in the series, it was cool to finally get an episode (more or less) about them. Even though it was about August and not September (the important one), it was cool to finally get some sort of glimpse into what they are about.
quote:

Why exactly is Peter suddenly interested in following Walter? Plenty of episodes before this one, have Walter wondering about on his own. Peter hasn't shown interest in following Walter before.

I wondered about this as well.

Another thing I am noticing is how much more involved Peter is becoming in...well, everything. Like he tells that kid shooting basketball, he's not FBI at all. Yet he is interrogating suspects, making raids (without a gun, which always cracks me up), roughing up suspects, fricking with evidence, making calls that Olivia should make, etc. And don't get me wrong, I am cool with that, but they just need to make him part of the FBI instead of "consultant" or whatever the hell "badge" it was that they gave him back in season one. And they certainly need to either give him some sort of weapon or stop letting him basically run point when busting into residences.

Looks like the this week's episodes get a little more into things that tie into future shite. Also, this week has "Unearthed," which is the out or order episode. Basically, this is the one that confused the frick out of me the first time around about Charlie Francis...because he is in this one, yet he died in S2E1 and the Charlie shapeshifter died in S2E4. It was sort of made as a stand-alone episode, and some argue that it could've taken place in the alternate universe (to explain the weirdness of the Charlie timeline) or whatever.

Ahh. I watched Charlie The Resurrection in season 1 where Netflix had it.
