Southern Baptists are a shepherdless flock who will move from whim to whim based on what benefits their coffers. The rise of the religious right was nothing more than an attempt to get power and money which was successful.

They backed FDR and the New Deal and then switched through time to the conservative movement due to increasing social and economic and political equality by minorities and women.

Embarrassing post even for you.

You don't have to agree with them on school prayer or abortion, but their positions on those issues have nothing to do with civil rights. Nothing.
