man the sky falls quickly when he pitches.

His walks infuriate me, but it's 2 runs and if that's his typical blow inning for the day consider me thrilled.

lets just not go threatening his wife again cubs fans.

Obviously I see the difference but i do get a slight kick out of the excitement from cubs fans to pick up turner and the hate towards jackson. Jackson is terrible, but he's going to start, i'm still hopeful he can reclaim some of his magic. I also have a soft spot for lost causes.

I would rather sign Darwin Barney to a ten-year deal than watch Edwin Jackson pitch again.

He is fricking miserable on a four year, $52 million deal. I know his FIP is 4.17 and xFIP is 3.97, but his 3.83 BB/9 rate is annoying.

He is a career mediocre pitcher with poor control with a decent k rate every other year.

What magic? The only time people were excited about Edwin Jackson was back in 2003 on the Dodgers when he was lucky as balls.

He is a career 4+ ERA and FIP arm with only a 2/1 K/BB ratio. Just because he can throw gas does not mean he can harness it effectively.

Edwin Jackson is who he is. He is practically 31 years old and has never stuck with a club his whole career. I wonder why.

I think the excitement over Turner is that he's 23 and there is potential for him to learn and be a Jake Arrieta reclamation project while Jackson just continues to walk people and throw meatballs in the middle of the plate like a mongoloid.
