re: How can you justify saying Magic>Lebron?

And the difference between this and the LeBron crowd who discounts titles because it's not in their favor is what?
Actually, the argument for the MJ/Magic/Bird era is evaporating. 3 Weeks from now LeBron may have a 3rd ring at the age of 29. Bird only won 3. MJ won 6 but won 40 of them after he turned 30. Magic won 5 rings....all before turning 29. But do you really want to compare the 1978-79 Lakers that won 47 games, advanced to the WC Semi-finals and returned a roster with Kareem, Michael Cooper, Jamaal Wilkes and Norm Nixon to the roster of 2002-2003 Cleveland Cavaliers whose 17 wins was the fewest in the NBA. FWIW, the 79-80 Lakers won 13 more games in Magic's rookie season (79-80) while Cleveland won 18 more in LeBron's rookie season. The Lakers regressed from 60 wins in Magic;s rookie season to 54 in '80-81, to 57 in '81-82, 58 in '82-83 and 54 in '83-84 while Lebron led Cleveland from 17 wins prior to his arrival to continual improvement of 35 wins in '03-04, 42 wins in '04-05, 50 wins in '05-06 and '05-07. Comparing Magic's rings to LeBrons certainly isn't fair.

End.
Verse.
Chapter.
Story.
Maybe Ray Allen saves the Participation King's arse again?
Maybe he will participate again in the Finals. Maybe he will disappear when it matters most again?
Doesn't matter. LeBron - all the talent in the world - but no "winning time" mentality - a weak noodled brain.
Such a waste. Combine Magic and Bird's smarts and drive with LeBron...LeBron could have been amazing.
He has disappointed. He could have been otherwordly.
Instead - he's just another great player.
LBJ defenders don't get it. Because they don't have that mentality either. They feel a kinship with LBJ - the soft generation.
Softy, softs. All touchy and feely and rat out on others for doing bad things.
Everyone gets a gold medal just for competing. A gold star because you went to the bathroom. Participation glory.
That's your generations greatest achievement. You Participated in this country and life...Congratulations.
Now move along.
