Right before that you were saying there's never been a guy who can guard all 5 positions like Lebron.
First, that's stupid. Lebron can guard 4 positions but he's not going to be matched up against a guy like Shaq or even Tim Duncan. They would own him.
In today's NBA where there are more smaller PFs you could say Lebron can guard 4 positions. Pippen could do the same. But I guess since Pippen didn't win DPOY he's not in the same class as Lebron, who has never won it either

Of course LeBron can't guard 7-foot centers for 48 minutes but he does it on occasion when he needs to and because of his strength he is more effective guarding the 4 and 5 then Pippen in the post. He's more effective defending the 1 as well. Playing with true centers, Rodman and Jordan, Pippen was never really needed to defend those positions.
