I'm a realist, too. And the facts are what they are. Could it be that you failed to read OP entirely? I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt here.

The above statement is a fact, period, end of discussion. Nowhere did I say Tiger Stadium is without issues. But you have to give credit where credit is due.

Alabama expanded Bryant-Denny Stadium the old school way, by adding primarily general seats.

LSU took into account the new realities of college football when it expanded. They followed Arkansas' example and added more premium seating instead of general seating.

To sum up, LSU built smarter, not just larger.
