Heh, let's compare BDS with TS...

BDS

TS (rendering of finished expansion)

Note the distance of seats from the bleachers to the field, and the amount of chairback seats in each stadium. What you can't see is how much more premium seating overall TS has than BDS. Or how much closer seats are to restrooms and concessions.

Ask yourself as a visiting fan, where would you rather sit? How close are you to exits, restrooms, and concessions?

BDS

TS

Ask yourself, which upper deck would you rather sit in? How close are you to exits, restrooms, and concessions?

BDS

TS

Ask yourself, which lower bowl would you rather sit in? How close are you to exits, restrooms, and concessions? How close is your seat to the field?

BDS

TS

If you're honest, you have to admit that right now Tiger Stadium is a much better place to watch a football game..

To the OP, have you ever been to BDS? Their stadium is much better than the pics that you post. Also, do you realize that when T&M finishes their upgrades, theirs' will be the best in the SEC? You need to take your P&G glasses off and realize that there are schools in the SEC that are better, facility wise, than LSU. LSU doesn't have the best facilities among the big three in the SEC. I'm a realist and you need to use a search engine before you post what you think.

i looked at the photos you posted and "asked myself" - i cant say it is as obvious as you think it is that tiger stadium is a much better place to watch a football game. ive been to both stadiums in person and they are both mighty fine places to see a game. tiger stadium is awesome for sentimental reasons, and because when it really gets rockin towards the end of an important, close SEC game - wow. but that isnt necessarily the stadium design that does that. it's the nature of LSU fans. put those same crazy cajuns in other stadiums with similar capacity and similar upper decks on each side and i think you would get something pretty much the same (maybe even louder).

in my honest opinion LSU stadium looks pretty cluttered, grimy, and incoherently added onto over decades. doesnt bother me but it does appear that way to me personally.

Nice comparison, and I do rather Tiger Stadium.

But the outside of TS Needs to conform or match, the North , South ,East and West do not match in styles. Now it looks Frankenstein.

And to be Honest it Needs a Good Cleaning too (east & west sides).

We need better seats in the end zones as well. Give us chair backs, we have paid for all these Tradition Fee increases. And the inside End zones areas have not been Improved to be honest. Look at old Texas Stadium, they had Chair backs throwout the whole stadium, just like the Superdome. LSU needs to do it right the 1st time when making improvements.
