Spin off of 'fair pay' thread earlier.
Was reading the NYT at Starbucks. Judge Judy has just signed a new 3 year deal with CBS.

She commits to working 52 days a year (that's once a week). She will get 49M.

I can just see the negotiations.

Judy: Hey, I'm 72. I want to spend my remaining years traveling the country to see my grandchildren. I quit.

CBS: NOOOOO! We'll give you more money! How much do you want?

The woman has major leverage.

The average bailiff makes $14 per hour. Her bailiff is a multi million heir.

Can't stand her show. Reminds me of the lowest common denominators of society.

Meh. Couple of drinks and I'd probably hit it.
