Royal Street Stroll Question

The event was supposed to be from 5.30 to 8.30. Is it typical for every vendor to be out of food by 7.45? Some of them were out by 7.15. We got there around 5.45 and mostly just shopped around galleries and planned to let some of the lines die down before grabbing a few bites. That turned out to be a pretty bad plan. For what is almost 100 a head it was a big waste of money and I'm far from frugal.
We also did the wine dinner Wed night at galatoires. It was excellent. Great wine with heavy poors all night and great food.

I've heard several times that it is hit or miss with them running out of food each year.
Out of all of the events, this one does seem to be overpriced pretty badly.

Unfortunately, had the same experience last night. They need to increase the amount of food at the event. I like a lot of the events that they run this weekend, but will probably skip this one in the future.
